Soccer Survivor
Pick one team each matchday. Last entrant standing wins.
What it is
A survivor pool built for international soccer tournaments — FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro, Copa América. Each pick window — every group matchday and every knockout round — you choose one national team to win. Survive the window and you advance. The last entrant standing wins.
How it works
- 1
Each window — every group matchday and every knockout round — pick one team you think will win.
- 2
Soccer has draws, so the admin decides up front whether a draw eliminates you, costs a strike, or counts as survival.
- 3
Team reuse is admin-configurable. The most common setting is once per tournament — pick a team, they’re burned.
- 4
Group-stage Matchday 3 within each group kicks off simultaneously, so picks for that round lock per-group rather than pool-wide.
- 5
Classic mode is one wrong pick and you’re out. Strikes (multi-life) mode lets the admin allow 1–3 wrong picks before elimination.
Best for
World Cup and Euro groups that want one shared running storyline for the entire tournament. Higher pressure than a tournament bracket pool — a single matchday can end your run on day one.
Example
FIFA World Cup 2026 Survivor
48 teams across eight rounds — 3 group matchdays + 5 knockout rounds. With draws set to eliminate, half the pool can be gone by Matchday 2. Plan your team usage like chess.
