Fantasy Pool

What it is

The classic fantasy game, no live draft needed. Every player has a price; you build a full team under the budget from the same list everyone else sees, then manage it all season with weekly lineups and trades. The same star can be on many teams — the skill is in the rest of the roster.

How it works

1. 1

   The commissioner sets the roster shape, the budget, and the entry deadline.

2. 2

   You build your team from the full player list — any player, on any number of teams — while staying under budget.

3. 3

   Each week you set your starters; the lineup locks at the first puck drop and the bench scores nothing.

4. 4

   Between weeks you can trade: let one player go, pick up another who fits your budget and roster.

5. 5

   The team with the highest total at the end wins.

Best for

Groups that want season-long fantasy without coordinating a live draft, or big pools where a live snake just isn't feasible. Plays like Fantasy Premier League.
