Draft Pool
Live draft. Each player taken once across the whole pool.
What it is
The classic. Everyone gathers online for a live draft and takes turns picking players one by one. Each player can only end up on one team in the pool — when someone takes them, they're gone. Once the draft is done, your roster's stats compete against everyone else's through the season.
How it works
- 1
Admin schedules the draft and sets the pick order, time per pick, and roster size.
- 2
On draft day, everyone joins the live draft room. A clock counts down each turn.
- 3
When it's your turn, you pick from the players still on the board.
- 4
Once every roster is full, the season runs and the site tracks each pick's stats.
- 5
The team with the most points at the end wins.
Best for
Dedicated groups who want the full draft experience — the trash talk, the pressure picks, the "oh come on" when someone takes your guy. Best with 8–14 people.
Example
12-Player NHL Snake Draft
12 entrants, 18 picks each, snake order. A couple of hours of live drafting, then a full season of watching your team.
